CONVENIENCE:
We cater to adults (children over the age of 14 are welcome) and offer uniquely decorated King rooms with a water or Lighthouse view, and a private entrance by your parking space, making it easy to move in for your stay.
We offer “Pre-Check In” via text message prior to arrival. This allows for contactless check in if you so choose.
The quiet streets by our property mean practically no traffic noise providing a more restful atmosphere and allowing you to enjoy the sights and sounds of the seashore….sailboats,sea breezes, sunsets, seagulls, just outside your window. Larger hotels in our area are often located on main highways and your view may include oncoming or departing traffic.
With just 8 units there are generally no more than 16 guests on premise. And your innkeeper is on call 24/7 to correct anything affecting your comfort.
Three local restaurant/bars are within a short walk but not on premise so we don’t get the noise of a restaurant. And our patrons are permitted to bring their own food and drink to our lovely rooftop deck or by the pool. A mini refrigerator and microwave are available in all our rooms.
PRIVACY & SECURITY:
Besides private entrances to all units, our facility is not accessible to the public. All entrances are locked and our registered guests are given the codes. This extra feature keeps our guest areas exclusive to our registered guests, unlike larger hotels that may have restaurants, meetings or events going on with an influx of visitors not actually staying there.
PERSONAL ATTENTION:
Upon check in, or as soon as possible thereafter, each guest is offered a personal tour of the facility where the innkeeper goes over information about the Sand Castle, the local area and the features of your room. Via text message you’ll have round-the-clock access for any questions to be answered.
VALUE: No hidden Fees
This is perhaps the most important feature to consider. Our room rate includes every amenity we offer. No upcharge for parking here and it is self parking, not valet so you always have immediate access to your vehicle. Our breakfast is included and home cooked. All baked goods are baked in our ovens. Complimentary tea/coffee & soft drinks are available 24/7. Wifi is free, bicycle rentals are free, beach chairs, towels, passes and umbrella are free. The outdoor pool is heated (mid-May thru mid- September) and is open from sunrise to dusk. We have a pool side fitness area too.
Our beautiful common areas include a cozy lounge, diningroom and sun porch all with a coastal chic decor. These are available to guests 24/7. A court yard with plenty of pool side seating and roof top deck with tables and lounge chairs. If you forgot a book to read, no worries, we have a bookcase full of books to borrow plus many exclusively about LBI. There is also a library of DVD movies and a DVD player in each room( yes “old school”), as well as popcorn to go with the movies!
